Mission Statement

Mason County Christian School

Who are we?      Our mission:

Mason County Christian School is a Christ-centered, Bible-based educational community working in partnership with Christian families and churches by inspiring each student to pursue excellence in character, academics and service.

What is God calling us to achieve?      Our vision:

Growing numbers of children in Mason County will know the Lord, grow in Christian discipleship, and be trained and equipped to use their gifts, knowledge, skills and energies for the Kingdom of God.

What are we committed to?     Our core values:

  • Bible-based instruction, including biblical literacy, scripture memory, and biblical integration and Christian worldview

  • High priority on students’ personal relationship with God—salvation, growth in Christian character, and discipleship

  • Training in heart-motivated discipline and responsibility

  • Academic proficiency with emphasis on reading, writing and mathematics

  • Coordinated emphasis on music and art at all grades

  • Individualized and group instruction that respects the value and uniqueness of each student

  • Spiritually vibrant staff who embrace their function as role models

  • Commitment to on-going professional development for teachers

  • Community building through all-school functions and  multi-age student relationships

  • Strengthen families and school readiness through encouragement, information, resources and fellowship

  • Frequent opportunities for service, outreach, and missions

  • Safe, attractive, well-maintained campus
