Mason County Christian School offers classes for pre-school through 8th grade students. Tuition is billed in ten monthly installments, August through June. (No payment is due in March. Re-registration for the next school year takes place during that month.)
Multiple students from one family receive a discount. There is also a 3.5% discount if the entire year’s tuition is paid prior to August 31. A schedule of tuition rates is available from the school office.
Tuition Payments: Tuition is due on the 1st of each month, with a $5.00 late fee added after the 10th. Families may be asked to withdraw from school if their tuition and late fees are not paid by the end of the month due, except that in June all amounts due must be paid by the 10th. Any variation from this schedule requires prior approval of a written request to the MCCS Administrator.
Registration Fee: The up-front costs associated with annual re-registration are covered by a registration fee of $150.00 per student, which is non-refundable, but $50.00 of this fee will be applied to the August tuition if the total fee is received by the last day of school the previous year. Registration is open only to those who have paid all tuition and fees to date for the current year. New students in grades Kindergarten through 8 pay a registration fee of $150 each; the fee for pre-school and pre-kindergarten is $85.00.
Scholarships: Through the generosity of friends of the school, a limited amount of scholarship funds are available to families who qualify. An amount equal to one month's tuition is available per family per year, on an emergency basis. These scholarships are grants, and do not need to be repaid. Please speak to the administrator if you are interested in a scholarship. Of course, donations to this fund are welcome at any time.
